"Visibility is crucial. When Proud To Be In Baseball shows up, we send the message that LGBTQ players no longer have to hide in order to participate in our sport. You can play baseball and you can be a proud member of the LGBTQ+ community. You don’t have to quit the sport in order to live your life authentically. It's 2023. Those things can coexist."
